Tester for the GenAI Era
This is not a "run the regression suite" role. GenAI software fails in ways traditional software never did. The same input can produce different, still-correct output. Testing that takes a new kind of tester.
What you'll do
- Exploratory testing of AI outputs: is the answer right, not just rendered
- Building automated end-to-end tests (our suite is Playwright + TypeScript)
- Guarding the paths that must never silently go wrong: money, tax figures, client data
Signs you'll love it
- Hands-on testing experience (manual, automated, or both)
- Enough coding ability in any language to write and maintain automated tests
- A habit of asking "but what happens if…" until people sigh
