What we collect on this website.

When you request an invite or join the waitlist, we collect your first and last name, work email, firm name, firm size, your role and the accounting platform you use. For an invite request we also ask when you could onboard a first client and, if you choose to tell us, your mobile number and the problem you most want solved.

While you fill in the form, your browser keeps a draft for that tab only, so a refresh does not lose your answers. The draft is deleted when you send the form or close the tab.

We use PostHog to see how people use this site: pages viewed, clicks, errors, and when a page is left. It also records how a visit moves through each page, with anything typed into a form hidden. It runs without cookies. It keeps an identifier in your browser’s local storage, and it removes query strings and fragments from every web address before anything is sent. It keeps campaign tags (the utm_ parts of a link), which show which link brought you here. When you request an invite or join the waitlist, PostHog links your work email to that identifier, so we can see which pages led to your request.

To keep spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is filling it in. Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and connection to do that check.

How we use it.

We use what you send us to reply to you, to decide on alpha places and to contact you about AccuMate. We read every application ourselves.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored.

Form submissions go to AccuMate’s own systems, hosted in Microsoft Azure’s Australia East region.

Website analytics are processed by PostHog in the United States. Turnstile checks are processed by Cloudflare.

Client data in the AccuMate product.

Practices that use AccuMate put their clients’ information into it. That data is hosted in Microsoft Azure’s Australia East region, and access to production is limited to team members located in Australia.

It is never used to train general AI models, and it is never sold or shared beyond the infrastructure needed to run the service. Each practice’s data is kept apart from every other practice’s.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information.

You can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Email accountant@accumate.ai and tell us what you need.

Complaints.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, email us first so we can put it right. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy.

When the way we handle information changes, we update this page and the date at the top of it.
